If you’re looking for a venue that provides a picturesque place to unwind and revive, the Lakeside Cafe is the perfect place to start. Rosemary and Thyme catering have been running this popular cafe since 2009 and it is becoming a firm favourite with locals and visitors alike.
Located inside the recently developed Nature Discovery Centre, the Lakeside cafe serves a variety of sandwiches, soups and hot snacks, as well as our tasty homemade cakes and a full range of beverages, throughout the year. Whether it’s a chilly morning and you need warming up after a long country walk, or you need something refreshing on a radiant summers day, we’ve got something to suit you.
The conveniently situated, yet idyllic, Nature Discover Centre overlooks the beautiful Thatcham lake and is a favourite spot for families and walkers. There is a visitor centre with fully interactive wildlife and nature history displays plus heaps of activities throughout the year.
We’re open 11am to 4pm between November and March and open 10.30am to 5pm April to October. We’re closed on Mondays and all bank holidays.
