Recently opened, the cafe at Snelsmore Common is the most recent of Rosemary and Thyme’s locally based venues. It is an ideal place to rest after a healthy walk around the Country Park or to grab something refreshing after a stimulating bike ride.
Ideally located in the Snelsmore Common Country Park, the cafe serves a range of home style snacks, beverages and ice creams, all served to Rosemary and Thyme’s exacting quality.
Snelsmore Common is situated 2.5 miles north of Newbury and consists of approximately 100 hectares of delightful heath, wet and woodland. The area became a Country Park in 1972 and has been since designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest due to the vast range of wildlife which make their home there. Butterflies, rare birds and deer all enjoy the tranquillity of the vast and beautiful site which has been a Common since the medieval age.
A great day out for the family, Snelsmore Common has two large picnic areas and ample parking.
